The Lava Catfish is covered with thick, igneous skin that can withstand extremely high temperatures. Because it has magma flowing in its veins, its body temperature can reach scorching levels when agitated. When it dies, its body turns into stone after about 10 minutes. It lives in the Lava zone, and feeds on anything that is found in the Lava. It's often found in Syleus's Abyss. You can catch this fish in Syleus's Abyss only when special fishing spot appears. It looks like a yellow circle on the surface of lava.
The marker of the spot is not visible on the world map, but it's shown on the map of the dungeon itself.
There is a chance for a spot to appear each hour. After the spawn spot stays there for two hours or until all fish in it is caught. So be sure to check the map of the dungeon at the beginning of each hour to catch this fish.
