It was not a coincident that the Black Snake and Red Wings guilds came to Nebula Island at the same time. The dispute between the two guilds started when the Black Snake Guild leader Addler bore grudge against the Red Wings Guild leader Vernon, but no one knew the exact reasoning behind this. Vernon simply ignored Addler's provocation as the Black Snake was far smaller than the Red Wings, but such attitude worsened the animosity between the two guilds.
Addler used the Red Wings to explore Nebula Island. The Black Snake members silently stalked the Red Wings in the forest, while Red Wings did all the fighting with Orcs and treasure hunters, wasting their stamina and resources. In other words, the Red Wings were opening the road for the Black Snake for free.
The Red Wings' exploration went well. When Red Wings finally found the relic chest at the Shrine of Devotion, a huge group of bandits raided them. They were small fries compared to the Red Wings, and the guild won the battle at the end, but it left the most of guild members injured, including Vernon.
That's when Addler came in. That was the moment for Addler to get rid of the Red Wings once and for all, and take hold of the relic.
The first arrow hit one of the Red Wings. Then a hail of arrows stormed the rest of guild members and bandits. Some Red Wings members escaped the shrine, but remaining bandits were all killed. The Black Snake Guild took the relic with ease - it was a perfect hunt.
The Red Wings lost many members to the Black Snake, and was burning for revenge. Vernon was willing to do anything to annihilate the Black Snake Guild. The guild wizard Boldwin pointed at the Fog Forest on the map. Addler was an obsessive man, and it was certain that he would come after the remaining Red Wings if he knew where they were.
Boldwin suggested to set a trap in the Fog Forest, and spread the rumor that Vernon was critically injured and hiding in the said forest. When this rumor reached Addler's ear, he took off to the Fog Forest right away.
The forest was filled with thick fog. The vision was very bad, but all Addler could think of was killing Vernon, and he didn't mean to go back now.
Vernon and the Red Wings members hiding behind a gigantic tree was looking at the Black Snakes approach. Vernon thought they really looked like snakes. One of the Red Wings on the other tree sent a signal. Do we move in now? Everyone looked at Boldwin. At the same time, a Black Snake wizard stopped as if he felt something. Now!
Boldwin's blue lightnings hit the Black Snake guild. Vernon and his men jumped out of the blue sparkling fog, and started swinging swords. Vernon's red sword created a red haze. This time, it was a complete victory for the Red Wings.
