The Mackerel has a bluish back and a silvery white belly. There are dark blue patterns around the dorsal fin. The tail is yellow and the edge is black. It lives in cold clear seas, staying somewhere between the surface and mid depth of the water. In the spring and summer times they stay in the shallow places and move to deeper water in fall. It lays a lot of eggs and has a good taste, which makes it a popular cooking ingredient. It's usually found near Stonegard Coast, around Saurodoma Island, northern Laslan, and Talandre's swamps.
