It seems like bad luck follows me around.
I lost my way before, and now I'm lost again in the Fog Forest. I threw my grappling hook to find a way out, but it caught a Mitran.
Sigh... I don't know if I'll survive this time.
A tree appeared from the fog. The ugly crow scribbled on the tree was definitely mine. Oh no! I was so sure that I was heading forward, but I was keep walking in circles! I felt like I tried every direction. Poor me! I would have painted the town if I knew I was going to die like this.
Then I saw something sparkling ahead. When I got close, it was some sort of thread. Well, now that I think about it, it was stupid of me to touch it. But at that time, the thread seemed like the only way out of the forest.
I held the thread and carefully followed it. The thread became thicker and thicker as I moved forward. Then, I noticed a strange construction at the end of the rope. What was it called? The answer suddenly popped up in my head. A spider nest! And a huge one at that!
I screamed and ran to the opposite side. But it was another stupid mistake. It was as if I was loudly advertising fresh food to all monsters in the forest. I sensed more and more monsters coming after me. I kept running, but monsters never gave up neither.
I quickly searched my bag, and found the grappling hook. It took me some time, but I finally could throw the hook towards a large tree in front of me. Please, just catch anything, so that I could get out of here!
And the hook did grab a branch! But for some reason... it didn't feel right. Why is the tree moving? And why does this tree have a face? And it's glaring at me!
Oh I know now, I caught a Fog Mitran!
The Mitran seemed offended by my unexpected hair designing attempt. Maybe it would have forgiven me if I let go of the hook right away. Only... that I didn't. I held to the hook and ran.
My sudden move shocked Mitran, and made it go wild. So wild, that even monsters that have been chasing me had to leave. Some of them might have stayed, but I couldn't tell for sure. I was busy evading Mitran's attack.
Every time the Mitran smash the ground with its branch, I could feel my backpack shredding away. When the backpack completely gives up, it would be my back hitting the ground. I should have brought a stronger bag!
I threw myself to other trees to protect my back, but to no avail. The force was too great, and a single blow destroyed poor little trees.
I don't know how long it went on. After some time, I was pulled really hard by the rope in my hand and fell to the ground. I stood up and looked around, and you wouldn't believe what I saw. The Mitran, completely tied up with my rope, struggling to get up. I understood what happened. Every time Mitran whirled and turned, the rope on its head tangled up with its body.
I could see feathers, pieces of clothing, leaves, roots, bird nests, and every other forestry junk you could think of tangled up in the rope as well. What a hilarious sight! I should tell others about this! My guild friends won't believe me, but I have the proof right here! Now no one will call me a fool anymore.
Then I heard my Guild leader calling my name, and Guild members complaining. I began to run with a big smile on my face.
