Until now, I believed that Orcs were harmful. Killing them was a natural thing to do. But this little Orc changed me completely.
I still remember the moment an arrow dug into my leg. A black snake mark on the arrow indicated that it was shot by the Black Snake Guild. They were following us around, and ambushed us when we were weak. I was separated from my group, and couldn't go to the designated rally point because of the injury. I hid myself in a ruin, and lost consciousness.
When I woke up, I realized that I was in a very bad situation. The "ruin" I was in, was an abandoned building of Nebulaka Orcs. I tried to stand up, but the pain was too great and could not walk at all.
Then I heard light footsteps. I gritted my teeth and hid behind a cover. After a while, when I peeked, there was a young Orc staring at me. Then the youngling disappeared. I thought the boy was gone to bring grownups.
But when the boy came back, he had a bag of water and some fruits. I looked at him warily, and the boy offered me the food and drink, making a gesture to eat. The boy didn't seem to have any ill intentions, so I took the food. It was a complicated feeling, eating food from an Orc boy.
So, I was contemplating the situation all alone, and loud noises were heard from the outside of the building. It was Arkeum Legion attacking the village for relics. I thought it was my time to leave, but then I heard the boy's scream. So I decided to fight, even if it would cost me a leg.
Orcs seem surprised when they saw a human covered with blood and dirt coming out of an abandoned building, but when I started to fight against the Arkeum, they joined me. How reckless I was! But I knew that I would never regret this day.
