Walking down the road between the Guardian's Garden and Pilgrim's Way, located near Quietis's Demesne, you can find a huge statue. Though it resembles the sun, it's actually the giant axe that Quietis used to wield.

Quietis was one of the five giants who started a great war against the humans, elves, dwarves, and orcs long ago. In order to win the war, Quietis used his heart's energy to create an enormous weapon. This weapon tore through the allied forces. Quietis, who also had some level of control over water, seemed all but unstoppable. But the allied forces did not give up and managed to steal Quietis's heart, winning the war. The weapon lost its energy, was shattered and scattered across the world, and the giants faded into history.

The statue that appears in the illustration is of the axe, though it's hard to tell as part of it is depicted as being buried in the ground, allowing only some of to be seen. However, if you see the great axe with your own eyes, it will give you some idea of how big the giants were. If you want to learn more about the mysterious history of the giants, it's still possible to find traces of them at Quietis's Demesne.
