Hanging bodies on the tree - that was the last of those who disobeyed Kazar.

When Kazar gave me his order, I knew everything was going to change. The soldiers who believed that it would be okay to steal a couple of treasure will have to change their minds.

As per Kazar's order, I wrapped the thieving soldiers with wet clothes from head to toe, and hung them on the tree. Soldiers wriggled and begged and cried like big white worms, but they all died away with thirst and starvation.

Others turned their heads away from the gruesome punishment. It filled them with fear and anxiousness. Kazar's message was clear. Whether relic we find is magical or not, anyone who touches them will pay.

It made me realize that Kazar was obsessed with relics, even to a lethal degree. I don't know the reasoning behind this, but the relic he is looking for must worth all these cruelty. I have also accepted the fact that I must be the part of this madness, as the executioner of his instructions.

My men know this, too. I feel their desperation, but I will never show my fear. Because I am just a tool, a tool that Kazar uses.
